Built Their Tomorrow – Donation Terms

1. Use of Donations

All donations made to Built Their Tomorrow are used to support migrant workers in the Middle East. Donations are allocated approximately as follows:

•85% directly supports workers, including essentials such as housing, food, and medical aid.

•15% covers operational costs, including:

1. Payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe)
2. Platform maintenance and website hosting
3. Administrative work, coordination, and communication
4. Field visits to inspect housing and local projects

• Donors may choose to cover the payment processing fee themselves during checkout to maximize the impact of their donation.

2. Non-Refundable Donations

• Donations are generally non-refundable, as funds are allocated immediately to support workers and ongoing projects.

• Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as duplicate payments, errors, or technical issues.

• Refund requests must be submitted in writing via info@buildtheirtomorrow.org, including the transaction details and reason for the request.

3. Transparency & Reporting

• Built Their Tomorrow is committed to full transparency in how donations are used.

•Donors can expect:

1. Regular updates on projects, including stories, photos, and measurable impact of donations.
2. Clear reporting of fund allocation, including operational costs.
3. Impact estimates (e.g., “€20 provides a worker a week of food”) are approximations and may vary based on local conditions.

4. Payment Processing

• Donations are processed securely through Stripe.

• Payment information is not stored on Built Their Tomorrow servers.

• Stripe fees (~1.4% + €0.25 for European cards, higher for international cards) are included in the 15% operational allocation unless the donor chooses to cover them separately.

5. Allocation of Donations

•Built Their Tomorrow works with trusted local partners to ensure funds reach the workers efficiently and safely.

•While every effort is made to ensure donations are used as intended, local conditions may affect how funds are spent.

•Operational costs may fluctuate slightly depending on travel, logistics, or administrative needs.

6. Donor Responsibility

• By donating, the donor acknowledges and agrees that:

1. Donations are voluntary and intended to support the mission of Built Their Tomorrow.
2. Built Their Tomorrow is not liable for indirect losses or changes in the impact of funds.
3. All donor-supplied information is accurate and complete.
